The African Youth Development Foundation (AFRYDEF) hereby announces Lady Ada Ikechiuku popularly called De Lioness by her admirers as its Global Ambassador in London, England.
Briefing newsmen about this breaking news, the President of the foundation, Remy Chukwunyere said, “her various charitable causes around the world, especially in London and Nigeria was the reason for this recognition and appointment as our Global Ambassador.”
Lady Ada Ikechiuku hails from Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State and has several degrees, including Mass Communication, Business Computing and Adult Nursing.
She is the Founder and CEO of Friends of De Lioness (FDL International), a charity organization that has affected the lives of many indigent women and children around the world.
She is also the Women Leader of Abia State Assembly in the United Kingdom, an appointment which came with the title “Adabuzo na Abia State”.
See Lady Ikechiuku’s message for women across the world , “there is nothing you do as a woman that is enough. If you listen to those who make the rules, you might just conclude that the safest course of action is just to take your diploma and crawl under your bed. But let me propose an alternative. Hold on to your dreams. Take up the challenge of forging an identity that transcends you. The only way to prepare is to do what you have done: Get the best education possible; continue to learn from literature, scripture and history to understand the human experience as best as you can.”
The above philosophy may be the reason why she has achieved a lot for herself and for humanity: as a chat show host, Master of Ceremony, Counselor, Vice President of United Umuada Igbo Club International UK, Assistant Secretary of Ohaneze Ndigbo UK & Ireland, etc.
As our Global Ambassador in the United Kingdom, we expect De Lioness, Lady Ada Ikechiuku to extend her goodwill in leveraging support and building new international partnerships for AFRYDEF.
To God be all the glory!
