Engr. Linda Ogbonna was there from the beginning in 2000, when African Youth Development Foundation took off in Imo State. Her commitment to putting smiles on the faces of the poor has been her motivation for this assignment.
In 2008, she was nicknamed “Put a Smile” by one Bishop Nelson Nnannah, following the passion she demonstrated in several occasions to save people in trouble, including a woman that was thrown into the gutters by a hit and run truck and one Master Chukwuemeka, who was burnt beyond recognition by fire and was admitted into the Federal Medical Center, Owerri.
It was Linda’s doggedness and commitment to save their lives that made African Youth Development Foundation raise money for their hospital bills and other expenses while on admission.
In summary, Linda takes delight in defending the rights of women and children as well as will do anything within her reach to put smiles on their faces.
