History was made again yesterday when the Board and Management of the African Youth Development Foundation (AFRYDEF) announced the appointment of Prof Rubee Singh as its Global Ambassador in India.
Dr. Rubee Singh is a Professor of Human Resources Management, an editor, author, social and human rights activist.
She completed her Doctorate degree in Human Resources Management from Noida International University at the age of 26 after an MBA degree in the same course from Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, India.
She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Human Rights and Peace Development from the Royal American University, USA in September, 2019 for her outstanding contribution in social work.
Dr Singh is the Managing Editor of three reputable Journals; a Senior Research Advisor of IMRTC, USA and a Lifetime Senior Member of Asia Society for Researchers, Hong Kong.
She is a United Nations Volunteer and a contributing author for the UNICEF’s Voices of Youth. She was invited by the WEPS Forum of UN Women to attend the 2020 International Women’s Day event in New York, USA.
Dr Singh received the Linkedin Wonder Women Awards during the International Women’s Day celebrations in 2019 and 2020, consecutively and is an honorary life member of the Women Economic Forum.
Ambassador Rubee Singh is very young and full of energy and we are glad that she will be joining the other members of the AFRYDEF team in charting a new future for the foundation, especially as the world overcomes the Covid-19 pandemic soon.
